Position Description Company is seeking an experienced and talented marketing director, responsible for maintaining its position as the market leader in the enterprise visibility solutions and Wi-Fi RFID industry. Position scope includes overseeing the company's marketing strategy and overseeing the company’s marketing policies and initiatives. Includes analyzing the market potential, sales tools development, definition of go-to-market strategies and overall responsibility of marketing communications, analysts and media relations. Reports to VP Marketing & Product Strategy. Location

Responsibilities · Oversee the company's marketing strategy and analyze the market potential and profitability · Ensure articulation of company's desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external. · Overall responsibility of global public relations marketing plan and media relations. Coordinate media interest in the organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests. · Overall responsibility of analyst relations · Set direction and goals for marketing communications programs including advertising, campaigns, newsletters, Webinars, Website management and awards · Conduct market research and develop marketing plans for company’s products and services. Review changes to the marketplace and competitive landscape and adjust marketing plan accordingly. · Collateral and sales tools development (data sheets, white papers, application notes) · Trade show programs – manage events, conferences, partner events, speaking engagements · Develop and execute partner and channel marketing programs. Own marketing relationships with key partners. Requirements · Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities. · Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, presenting and negotiating with media. · Excellent writing and presentation skills · Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills · Able to be effective and achieve goals in an independent work environment · Familiarity and experience with Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), RFID, location based technologies – advantage · Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success · Education: MBA
